1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to The Impact Portal ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Michelle Murphy, based in Switzerland. By accessing or using this website and any workshops, programmes, or services offered through it (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
2. Description of Services
The Impact Portal provides live online workshops, programmes, and community resources focused on personal development, purpose alignment, and conscious entrepreneurship. All sessions are delivered via video conferencing; participants will be notified of the platform prior to each session. Our current Services include:
- Discover Your Soul Gifts — a free one-hour live guided meditation and reflection workshop
- Transform Your Passion into Purpose — a paid half-day interactive live workshop
- Purpose to Practice: A Business Accelerator — a paid 10-session programme, one workshop per week over 10 weeks (3 to 4 hours each); the first cohort begins September 2026
- A community newsletter and related communications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
3. Enrolment & Payment
3.1 Enrolment
Enrolment in paid workshops and programmes is completed via a secure payment link. Spaces are limited; a place is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Free workshops are confirmed upon registration via the relevant sign-up form.
You must be 18 years of age or older to enrol in our Services.
3.2 Pricing
Prices are displayed at the point of purchase and are stated in USD unless otherwise indicated. Prices are exclusive of any local taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction; you are responsible for any such taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, provided that any price change will not affect an enrolment already confirmed.
3.3 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. In the event of a payment dispute, please contact us at hello@theimpactportal.com before initiating a chargeback.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
4.1 Cancellation by Participant
If you need to cancel your place in a paid workshop or programme, please notify us as soon as possible at hello@theimpactportal.com. The following policy applies:
- More than 14 days before the session or programme start date: full refund
- 7 to 14 days before: 50% refund, or a full credit toward a future session
- Less than 7 days before: no refund, but a credit toward a future session may be offered at our discretion
4.2 Cancellation by The Impact Portal
If we must cancel or reschedule a session, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will be offered either a full refund of the amount paid or a credit toward a future session, at your choice.
4.3 Recordings and Materials
Where session recordings or digital materials are provided as part of a programme, no refund will be issued once you have accessed that content.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website and within our workshops, including text, graphics, audio, video, guided meditations, worksheets, and course materials, is the intellectual property of The Impact Portal and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may use materials provided as part of your enrolment for your own personal development and business planning. You may not reproduce, distribute, share, sell, or publish any workshop content or materials without our prior written consent. Sharing session recordings or workshop materials with third parties is strictly prohibited.
6. Participant Conduct
By participating in our workshops and community, you agree to engage with respect, integrity, and care for fellow participants. You agree not to:
- Record, share, or distribute workshop sessions without prior written consent
- Share other participants' personal disclosures outside the group setting
- Use our Services for any unlawful or harmful purpose
- Engage in harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behaviour toward any person
We reserve the right to remove any participant from a workshop or programme without refund if their conduct is, in our reasonable opinion, harmful to the experience of others or in breach of these Terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Results
Our workshops and programmes are designed for personal development, purpose alignment, and business exploration. They do not constitute and are not a substitute for professional psychological, therapeutic, financial, legal, or medical advice. If you require such advice, please consult a qualified professional.
Individual results will vary. We make no guarantee that participation in our Services will lead to any specific outcome, financial result, or business success. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions taken in connection with our Services.
Our Services are provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Impact Portal's total liability to you in connection with any claim arising from your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
